Oh The Places You'll Go... (during Open House!) #bmswired

I have the privilege of working with some of the most amazing educators in the state of Texas.  And I truly mean that.  What I experienced here at Brenham Middle School today is proof positive.

Peggy Still is the principal at BMS and she is a lady with a vision!  If you want to know how to motivate your staff - just ask her!  This year's theme for BMS is "Oh The Places You'll Go."  Peggy's assignment to her staff over the summer: take a picture of yourself in front of a road sign or any travel sign.  Peggy's first staff meeting ended at our local MOVIE THEATER where the staff ate popcorn and watched a movie they created to show the kids the first week of school.  (They actually got to watch their OWN MOVIE on the BIG SCREEN!!!)  Today I watched this entire school come together to make an old run down building look like a whimsical wonderland just waiting for students to arrive for Open House.

They have brains in their heads.  They have feet in their shoes.  Take a look at what an all-star staff can do!!!  :)
